Cub Scouts Dens 8 and 9 were given a local history lesson at Oconto Falls Community Library on November 19th. The Director, Joan Denis shared some history, the role of the river and logging with the boys and families. She showed the boys some historical photos of the river, the falls, and the town. Afterwards, John Funderburg had them practice their knot tying by building a raft. No test was given but one little boy would have failed when he asked if the Director took the photos!
